So today I'm sharing a tune that comes from Joey Bada$$ and featuring Kiesza. If you've never heard of these incredible artists, Joey Bada$$ is an American hip hop recording artists from New York. He sites his influences as Nas, JayZ, Andre 3000 and many more.
Kiesza is a Canadian musician who produces a lot of incredible 'throwback' sounding house and electronic tunes including 'hideaway' which was huge here in the UK last year.
I think this is an insane collab, sooo sick. I've read quite a few negative comments regarding this track as Joey's fans think it's 'not like his usual work'.. while it is quite different, that doesn't mean it's a bad thing! Seems like people have complained about him never trying something different but when he does, it's not right. Doesn't make sense to me but, what are you going to do?! You just have to listen to the track to hear that it's good. I've seen some people claiming that his upcoming album is going to be the illmatic of today's hip hop. That's a huge claim to make but I think if any artist could do it, it would be Joey Bada$$. Watch this space.
