This is a page to tell you a little bit about me personally, a bit about how this blog came about, and what you can expect to be featured on here in the future!
My name is Gemma, I'm 26 and I'm from London. For as long as I can remember I have wanted to work in the music industry. Music is an absolutely massive part of my life, it's something I'm extremely passionate about.
I created Planet Lux as a place for me to share and discover music. I want it to be a little corner of the internet that people can visit, knowing they'll find something new to listen to, or rediscover an old favourite! I write about music the way I talk about music. I like to write as if I'm having a conversation with friends. It keeps things personal, not like you're reading another article from yet another robotic blogger.
Where do I see this blog taking me? Well, in a perfect world I would absolutely love a career in the music industry. I do have plans to study a music industry certificate because I'm not 100% sure of what I'd like that role to be, but I do fancy artist management or something like that. A job that will allow me to interact, help and work with artists every single day and feel like I'm really a part of an incredible industry. I'm hoping that my blog will aid as a tool to prove my love for music. If we're talking the 'dream opportunity' I'd love to be asked to blog from a music award show. The BRITs maybe?! A girl can dream.
