So, the four day weekend has begun and I am loving it. What more could you want for the long weekend, than a good mixtape? I will be sharing a few mixtapes over the weekend, this is the first. This is 'Amethyst' by the insanely talented Tinashe.
Tinashe dropped this mixtape on March 16th and she did not disappoint. She is one of the best, most under rated and original people in the R&B scene right now, and has been for years. She's always been consistent with the quality of her music and everything she releases is top level. This mixtape is reminiscent of 90's Aaliyah and I think she's doing an incredible job of picking up where Aaliyah sadly left off. Watch this space. She'll be huge. If she doesn't blow up, I might lose a tiiiny bit of faith in the industry.
